This is a one way valve that fits over the bleed nipple. Put the end of the tube into a pot of brake fluid, crack open the nipple and squeeze the brake lever. The one way valve stops air being sucked back into the caliper for easy brake bleeding. Continue topping up the reservoir until only fluid comes out the end of the tube. Tighten the bleed nipple back up. Test, repeat if necessary.
